DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF ARMENIAN RESCUE SERVICE OF THE MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

Major – general A. Petrosyan

 

Was born in January 3, 1953 in Lernapat village of Spitak region, in servant's family.

1970 – finished secondary school N 8 of Vanadzor

1975 Yerevan state architectural institute with qualification of engineer- metallurgist

1975-1978 Deputy head of production, engineer-metallurgist in Yampol, Ukraine

1978-1983 Head of scientific group, leading engineer of central laboratory of “Armenian auto construction scientific institute

1983-1984 Deputy chief metallurgist of production section of “Andrkovkascabel”, head of laboratory of “Almast production unit”

1991 Joined military service and was appointed as a head of mobilization department of protection committee of the Republic of Armenia, further head of the central headquarter of Yerkrapah detachment

1993 Was appointed as the assistant to the Minister of Defense of RA. Had an active participation in Artsakh liberating war

1993 Was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia

1996 Was conferred the range of Major-General

1997 Graduated Military Academy of Central headquarter of the military forces of Russian Federation where was awarded with number of awards among which first class medal of “Fighting cross”

2000 Was apponted as the Deputy Head of Emergency Management Administration under the Government of RA

2006 Was appointed as the Deputy Director of Armenian Rescue Service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration of RA

2006 Was conferred the rank of Major-General of rescue service by the order of the President of RA.
